ΓΑΖΑ Β ΕΠΙ Herakles standing front, head to left, leaning right on club with his right hand and with lion's skin draped over his left arm; to right, 𐡌 (Phoenician 'mem'). RPC III online 4021.3 (this coin). Extremely rare, one of apparently just three known examples. Repatinated, otherwise, very fine.



This coin lacks the dual dating found on other coins from Gaza under Hadrian.
